Tea & Town Hall

On Saturday, October 11th at 9:00am PT, NYF will be hosting a virtual town hall on Zoom to provide an update on our programs and reflect on our shared commitment to children and youth in Nepal. In light of recent events, we’ve made the decision to open this event up to the entire NYF Community.

In addition to our president, Som Paneru, we are expecting to hear from NYF program alumna, Dr. Barsha Prakash, who currently serves as Health Division Chief at Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population. Unfortunately, Dr. Prakash’s office was destroyed during the recent unrest in Nepal—but her commitment to making healthcare accessible to all children in Nepal continues. We are deeply grateful for her perspective on the future of pediatric medicine & healthcare in Nepal during such a challenging time.
