Aryaa Regmi
Development Coordinator
Aryaa Regmi joined NYF’s U.S. team as Development Coordinator in March 2024. As a Nepali American she is honored to be part of the NYF mission. She has spent numerous summers in Nepal as a volunteer for Maiti Nepal. She believes in creating a safe space, educating the community, building trust and transparency, while advocating for and empowering children and their families.
Aryaa holds a BS in Global Resources Systems and an MID in International Development with a certification in Global Business and Corporate Social Responsibility. She served as a research assistant for the Human Trafficking Center at the University of Denver. In addition, she worked as a Youth Navigator for the Denver Office of Children Affairs at the International Rescue Committee where she ensured refugee, asylee, and immigrant youth were provided safe, welcoming, and enriching opportunities in Colorado. When working with children and their families, she believes in utilizing a trauma-informed approach with emphasis on mental health promotion and social emotional learning. Her passion lies within uplifting children in finding their own voice as she is confident the youth are our future.
