GivingTuesday 2024: Meals That Matter

This GivingTuesday, help the Nepal Youth Foundation (NYF) provide school lunches to children in Nepal!

GivingTuesday is on December 3rd this year. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, gratitude, and the harvest season, NYF is launching Meals That Matter, a dedicated campaign to raise funds for a school lunch program for our Caste Equality Project in Saptari District.

School lunches are particularly important in Saptari District, where most children face tremendous educational neglect and lack access to hot, nutritious meals. A free lunch service not only exponentially increases classroom attendance, but also ensures that school-aged children receive at least one nutritious meal a day.

Our goal of $13,284 will fund school lunches for 820 students until the end of our fiscal year, helping these children stay nourished, focused, and ready to learn. Learn more about our Meals That Matter campaign here!
