This Mother’s Day, give a gift that gives back! Honor the mom in your life with a special donation to NYF’s Nutritional Rehabilitation Home (NRH), which provides life-saving medical care and nutritional counseling to over 300 mother-child pairs every year in Nepal.

NYF’s Nutritional Rehabilitation Home specializes in medical and nutritional intervention, restoring severely malnourished children back to good health and setting them on a strong trajectory for growth and development. While children receive life-saving nutritional care at the NRH, their caregivers (mostly mothers!) participate in hands-on instruction focused on building lasting wellness at home. Lessons—which include topics like basic home health practices, hygiene, breastfeeding, food preparation, nutritional health, and family first aid—are tailored to individual circumstances, empowering mothers to maintain the health of their families moving forward.
Each stay lasts approximately three weeks, and costs $500 per mother-child pair. This year, your Mother’s Day donation in any amount can not only save a child’s life, but also empower mothers with the tools they need to build lasting wellness at home.
