NYF’s social workers visited 13 families who had relocated to Kathmandu from flooded regions. Like many of the families our team met last week, a lot of the women were still had missing husbands. Immediate relief materials were donated to each of the families. Many of them shared concerns about their children’s futures, with scholarship support being one of their biggest needs to ensure their children can continue their education.
